Jujutsu Kaisen is a popular Japanese manga series created by Gege Akutami. Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has been serializing the series since March 2018. He becomes a close ally to Yuji as they fight against cursed spirits. The Jujutsu sorcerers are also supported by an occult club, which provides them with resources and information to help them fight against curses.
Viz Media has the right to distribute the manga in English in North America. It is available on Shueisha’s Manga Plus website. It was also released in two books by Ballad Kitaguni in May 2019 and January 2020.
An anime adaptation of the series was produced by MAPPA and aired on MBS from October 2020 to March 2021. Crunchyroll obtained the rights to broadcast it outside of Asia, and the English dubbed version will debut in November 2020. The original music for the anime was released in April 2021. The second season is scheduled to release in 2023.
