Yuta Okkotsu is the main character of Gege Akutami's manga Jujutsu Kaisen 0. He is a teenager surrounded and helped by the spirit of Rika Orimoto, his childhood friend who died six years before the story and is cursed because both of them promised to get married when they grow up. In the 2021 animated film adaptation of the manga, Yuta is voiced by Megumi Ogata and Kayleigh McKee in the English version.

Kinji Hakari (Hakari Kinji) is a third-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High who is currently suspended for clashing with authority. While away from the school, Kinji is running a fight club between sorcerers for money. His innate technique allows him to spontaneously create and manipulate Pachinko machine parts, such as sliding doors. Using this technique, he is able to defeat the reincarnated sorcerer, Hajime Kashimo.

Kirara Hoshi is a third-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High who is currently suspended for clashing with authority. While away from the school, Kirara has partnered with Kinji while running his fight club. Their cursed technique is Interstellar Flight (Love Rendezvous), a complex technique whose motif is based on the Southern Cross constellation.

Satoru Gojo is a fictional character from Gege Akutami's manga Jujutsu Kaisen. He is voiced by Yūichi Nakamura in Japanese and Kaiji Tang in English in the animated adaptations by MAPPA. The character was well received by the media for his carefree nature and power shown when protecting his students.

Yuji Itadori is the main protagonist of the manga series Jujutsu Kaisen created by Gege Akutami. He is a first-year jujutsu sorcerer who is thrown into the world of sorcery after eating one of twenty fingers belonging to Ryomen Sukuna. Yuji believes strongly in the value of life and works to make sure everyone he meets receives proper treatment.

Panda is a second-year student at Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School. Although having the appearance of a giant panda, he is actually a unique type of cursed corpse created by Masamichi Yaga. Panda has three "cores" (the "heart" of a Cursed Corpse), which he can change back and forth to unlock various abilities.

Megumi Fushiguro is a fictional character of the manga series Jujutsu Kaisen created by Gege Akutami. He is a first-year student at Tokyo Jujitsu High, an academy to develop cursed techniques to fight against cursed spirits. In the anime adaptation, he is voiced by Yuma Uchida in Japanese and Robbie Daymond in English.

Maki Zen'in is a fictional character from Gege Akutami's manga Jujutsu Kaisen 0. She is a young student from Jujitsu High, mentored by Satoru Gojo.

Nobara Kugisaki is a fictional character of the manga series Jujutsu Kaisen created by Gege Akutami. She is a transfer student from Morioka whose hotheadedness and brashness contrasts with the other first-year students' altruism and stoicism. Her character has been praised by critics alongside other female characters in the series for being more layered and true to herself than other female shōnen characters.

Toge Inumaki is a second year student at Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School. He possesses the Cursed Speech Technique "Jugon" (呪言) and speaks only in various ingredients of rice balls. During the Shibuya incident, he is accidentally caught in Sukuna's Domain Expansion and loses an arm.
